About me... What about me? There are almost three million people on LJ. There are around 6.5 billion people on the planet right now. What separates me from the ocean of other people? What separates me from you? I see problems with our society as a whole, but I'm not the only one. I'm often depressed and I have a tendency to complain, but that seems to be the common theme on LJ. Like everyone else, I share many interests and many differences with many people. What makes me an individual? What makes any of us individuals? The idea of "individuality" is a quandary that I have pondered for many years. My individuality is surely more than my interests, emotions, and friends. I am who I am because of every event that has ever happened in my life. Friends, family, parties, drugs, materialism, politics, war, video games, anime, God, atheism, agnosticism, love, hate, fear, sadness, death and a myriad of other events have brought about a symptom called "individuality."
